edge Summit is a strategic platform founded by Andrew You and April Lam in 2024, with the vision of bridging Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area (GBA), and Indonesia—through high-level business dialogue, cross-border collaboration, and investment facilitation.
With a strong emphasis on digital economy, innovation, and sustainable growth, edge Summit serves as a dynamic conduit for forward-thinking business leaders, investors, policymakers, and institutional stakeholders who are actively shaping the next wave of Asia’s economic partnerships.
Since its inception in 2024, edge Summit has successfully convened senior business executives, trade bodies, chambers of commerce, and representatives from the public sector through curated engagements in both Hong Kong and Jakarta. Our previous events held in October, 2024 at Ayana MidPlaza Hotel, Jakarta, have welcomed 200 participants from the region, and endorsement from institutions including the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO), underscoring our commitment to strengthening bilateral ties. This Summit was published on HKSAR government’s press release.
In November 2024, edge Summit held a collaborated event with Oracle NetSuite and OnePacific in Hong Kong, involved speakers from Cyberport, Gobi Ventures, and generated 20+ media coverage.
The Summit’s role is particularly relevant at a time when Indonesia stands at the forefront of ASEAN’s economic transformation. By fostering informed dialogue and direct connection between stakeholders from both regions, edge Summit aims to catalyse inbound investment, enhance mutual understanding of business environments, and facilitate long-term strategic cooperation.
